Mischa barton was born 24 January 1986 in the city of Hammersmith, England. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared on The Sixth Sense a suspense movie. The O.C. The O.C. Katie Singer appeared in eight episodes playing Jessie Sammler's Evan Rachel Wood's, partner in The Once and Again television show. The year 2001 saw Barton make her film debut with Lost and Delirious, an independent Canadian drama based on Susan Swan's novels The Wives of Bath. The performance of Barton, as well as those with the co-stars Jessica Pare and Piper Perabo has been widely acknowledged. Barton also appeared on the screen in Julie Johnson (2001) alongside Lili Taylor and Courtney Love playing the daughter of a woman involved in the midst of a relationship between lesbians. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. Then she returned to Romania with a hero's welcome. Comaneci received two more gold medals at the 1980 Olympics She also took home two more silvers. Her total Olympic medals count is now at nine. In 1996, Comaneci was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and, in 1999, she was recognized with a special award from ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of the 100 Most Important women in the 20th Century. Comaneci was married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April of 1996. The couple has their son Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy and other businesses related to gymnastics are run through the connoisseurs. Comaneci is also a member of several boards for charities which include the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors as well as the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. Additionally, she remains active in supporting dozens of charitable organizations in Romania. That also includes the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital of Bucharest.
