Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress born and brought up within Orange County. At the age of 5 she left Morocco for California. Her first break into acting in the year 2015. In the same year, Sofia Pernas graduated from University of California San Diego. Pernas began her acting career by playing tiny roles in NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless gave Pernas the character Marisa. The actress who left this soap at the end of 2016 got the part as Catalina as a regular on Jane the Virgin. The model who is fluent in four languages has since appeared on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020 Pernas played Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly reported in May 2020 that Pernas was in a relationship with Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless.
